The 40 Most Exquisitely Sad Songs in the Whole World
In response to The 25 Most Exquisitely Sad Songs in the Whole World I have compiled all 25 songs into a play list, along with the top 15 write-ins.
And also I threw in a few of Joe Pernice's Most Exquisitely Sad Songs, the ones that were available. Of course these songs don't really count because they are bonus songs.
My most favorite "Sad Song" would have to be Alone Again (Naturally)by Gilbert O'Sullivan Listen to it here.
My favorite line being "...Left standing in the lurch, at a church where people are saying, My God she stood him up, no point in us remaining, may as well go home..."

Greatest Songs From 1968 - Part 1
Since Finetune was acting up something fierce when I compiled this play list, I only got as far as part 1 on the greatest recordings from 1968 But no Beatles were available, and probably never will be, this is a quote I found on the Beatles
"You can still listen to the beatles on Artist Radio, and their tracks can still be added when using the I'm Lazy button. However the owners demand more money if we allow people to add them at will."
So no Beatles. And also the audio quality may not be quite up to par on some of these songs, I haven't really had the time to listen to it yet.
